Hi Eastend555 I also need ear syringing & have been waiting since end of May for this. I was told that NHS will do it again once the Covid 19 pandemic has died down whenever that will be. In the meantime I am using Earex quite regularly and also bought this from Amazon smile.amazon.co.uk/gp/produ... (I did check if my GP felt this was ok to use first)

I'm not sure if it has helped at all because I haven't seen any wax on the disposable tips but maybe the wax is quite deep in my ear. Hope you get some relief soon x

Hi EastEnders. My husband has the same problem. He has been using olive oil ( recommended by the nurse at our surgery) and earex to no avail. We/ he ( I bought, he used ) have tried most of the gadgets - water syringe -like things, strange twiddle sticks, little spoons and twiddle spirally things- all a waste of money.

Then I bought yet another device. It is a water container with a tube attached. You pump the water with a trigger . It works. He kept using the drops, as you would if you were getting your ears syringed at the doctors.

We got quite a lot of wax out on the first go. You also get a suction ball thing. He has also got some out using that. He ear is now just about clear.

I bought it from Amazon.

I’ll see if I can post a link.

(Joking as my big error was in the fact that our messages are typed to one another and not spoken. Otherwise it just may have made you smile!! 🐿🌈👂👂💉x

Seeing there’s a message addressed to me from you is enough to make me smile, even if I didn’t quite catch what you said.😀x
