Christmas bet with my neighbour

I found this little tree in the garage , ( we used to put it in my eldest granddaughters room every xmas when she stayed over as a night light) and decided I was going to put it outside my front door on a night to see how long it would last until the local druggie womble came to swoop it up , I said 48hrs my neighbour said 24hrs ( the bet is a bottle of wine) .this is a quiet little Avenue that leads nowhere but it's been targeted these last few months by thieves so we thought we would help these unfortunate individuals by leaving something that at first glance might be worth something but on inspection is worth nothing , in the past we have left amazon boxes outside our houses with broken toys or small white goods in, (it's better than going to the tip)

I know this has nothing directly to do with health but it sure does make mike ( my neighbour) and I laugh

I'm not being cruel I'm just doing a little rebalancing of karma.

These bleeders have been everywhere that's not locked sassy, sheds , garages, cars but luckily not in anyone's house ... yet, grrrr ,lol

In the last 12mths I've forgot to lock my car twice and both times someones been in it, I dont leave anything of value in it sassy but I did get a pair of leather driving gloves stolen ( easily replaced though) we never see police cars patrolling anymore so I guess it's up to us to discourage the let's call em riff raff x

09.00am and its still there but it was raining last night ( mike only has 12 more hrs before I'm drinking his vino collapso), I'll update as to the outcome
