Lol yes yesterdays were a very stormy story πŸ’žπŸ’ž

Yes, it did chuck it down. Deafening in the workshop, hammering on the 'tin roof'. Looking at the forecast charts, it is going to be a wet and windy weekend. Fingers crossed you have avoided developing a chill.

Soulful picture that, we have been very lucky in the east, beautiful day yesterday and no rain. Very windy and showery sunday and this morning bright sunshine. Hope it lasts. Take care I'm off up the beach with my four legged friend. Jane

Gosh, that’s an astounding picture, Blackbird. Love it, though ominous in mood.

Bright sun where I was yesterday. We went over to Birkenhead, across the Mersey from Liverpool. I’m having my eyes done at a clinic there, and prep appointment for eye number 2 yesterday.

Relieved to get out over three hours later, sun brilliant, so my OH drove us over to West Kirby, by the sea on the other side of the Wirral, our first home as newlyweds! It was gorgeous sunshine there, and the coast over the estuary was a picture! But my eyes soon got tired with the glare still there of the special eye drops, so we had a coffee, drove to my old Mum’s, then home, where I fell into my bed exhausted. Lovely sunshine though β˜€οΈβ˜€οΈβ˜€οΈ That’s my story.

Thanks for the very contrastingly beautiful photo ❀️, Blackbird. It could also be an atmospheric oil painting, or a beautiful but terribly difficult jigsaw puzzle picture. Your talent with a camera is amazing! 😘

Evening Yatzy

Sounds like you had a walk back in time yesterday very romantic.

Good luck with the other eye and nothing wrong in having an early to bed night when it suits . I am often up and about around 4.45 ish so heading to bed to watch TV or read a book is ideal .

I'm glad your enjoying the weather soon to be with enhanced eyesight look after you πŸ’žπŸ’žπŸ’ž

Hi Blackbird6 and although storms and wind and rain are elements of nature that can be very disruptive, your photograph has captured it, in all its glory and it looks wonderful ... (Never thought I'd be saying that as you can usually find me hiding under the duvet whenever there's stormy weather!).

Another excellent moment in time captured by you and your trusted camera.

Blackbird6 profile image
Blackbird6 in reply to SquirrelsHolt

Hi squirrel you surprised me by saying your under a duvet I assumed you would be a storm chaser like me heading out at all hours to watch the lighting striking down over the sea and the thunder cracking around you lol are you in bed now πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚

Have a lovley evening πŸ’žπŸ’ž

SquirrelsHolt profile image
SquirrelsHolt in reply to Blackbird6

Well since I'm not a regular squirrel,i do like to snuggle under my duvet and I only wish I was close to the seashore - not only for cleaner air to breathe in but also for the feel good factor. I'm not a "chaser" of any description as with my puffing and panting, moaning and groaning , by the time I could get anywhere, the storm/lightening will have been and gone. Best left to the experts like yourself and that way you do all the hard work and I sit on my throne and critique your work,,lolπŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚.

Blackbird6 profile image
Blackbird6 in reply to SquirrelsHolt

Oh my your Maj

I would never dream of seeing you or hearing you puffing and panting .

You stay curled up under your duvet hogging your nuts it would be in your best interest to stay comfortable.

I do value your opinion of course backs away bowing slowly and doffing my wool hat in your direction πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚πŸ’žπŸ’žπŸ’ž

Very ominous mood in this picture, captured very well. Cant say the weather here in Manchester where I live hasnt been that bad, I must have been very lucky to dodge the rain, it seems to pour then go very quickly x

Blackbird6 profile image
Blackbird6 in reply to Izb1

Hi Izb

It's not been that bad here to be honest some days in the late 20s so a good downpour does work . Suns out today lovley for a walk. Normally Manchester gets all the weird and wonderful weather πŸ’žπŸ’ž

Izb1 profile image
Izb1 in reply to Blackbird6

I know, Manchester has a bad reputation of always raining but the last couple of years have been sunny and warm, even the latest thunderstorms have passed us by, well it has where I am and for a change enjoying it x

Good Morning Blackbird6. We was thinking of going out down town for a walk and fresh air. But sadly raining and Thunderstorms for later on. Hope your keeping as good as you can. I am a newbie. Only 1 week. But loving the group. Advice and chatter

Welcome Bingo

Glad your enjoying the group and the company.

Hope you get your walk later certainly the rain and storms are around at the minute ...I dont mind the wind just hate the rain makes you feel a bit mizzy summer seems to be disappearing at the minute. Enjoy your day πŸ’žπŸ’ž

Have you plans for anywhere yet. I was hoping to get away September but running my own dog walking pet sitting business makes it difficult. But I must try haven't been away since January to tenerife and my days off are very few and far between πŸ’žπŸ’žπŸ’ž

Sadly we have just cancelled a 3 month break to Costa Blanca. Due to my recent diagnosis for a pacemaker and copd. I was driving over. Which the wife was not too keen on me doing anyway. But with all the uncertainty of my pacemaker op, and copd tests. And stabiltity. Plus insurance. We are not doing that now. Hoping to get there for xmas/ New Year. And possibly extend to end of January. Anything to get away from this uk weather. 3 month drive over can wait

Blackbird6 profile image
Blackbird6 in reply to Bingo88

Awww seems such a pity to cancel but health is more important and easier here to get sorted rather than abroad somewhere .

Fingers and toes crossed you will be organised enough to get away for the winter and have some well deserved sunshine.

Have a lovley day and look after yourself πŸ’žπŸ’žπŸ’ž
