Forgotten carbocisteine

gone away for the w/end and left tablets @ home. Will I be OK not taking them for a couple of days?

Hi,

I like you have gone away and not taken enough carbocistiene, only if I had a bad cough, cold etc. did I notice that I had problems shifting any gunck or phlegm, if I had no problems at the time, then I had no problems missing my tablets for a day or two.

I agree with Tuckbox. If you're near a health food shop or a chemist you could purchase some NAC (N-acetyl cysteine). Otherwise, keep your fluids up to keep it all moist. P

Peege is NAC exactly the same? I have both at home (NAC I bought after advice on another forum I’m on but consultant put me on Carbocisteine, since tho someone has put that the effects of being on the Carbocisteine isn’t good so wondering if NAC would be better?)

Hi, I don't know if it's better.

In both France and Croatia I was given it when I'd run out of Carbocysteine .

Sorry, if you put it in the search bar you'll get loads of information about tha NAC

Don't worry, I left mine off for two weeks to see if I could manage without them, it will be OK
