Hi this is my dog family. There is jessie (my daughters dog- the white golden retriever -lived with us for a while but back with my daughter now) Then their is savannah (my eldest daughters dog -the ginger and white cavalier King Charles- also is over ours a lot ) then their is snipe (the black dog who is camouflaged into the side of the car :) - our dog lives with us - Snipe is the one who has just had his operation I have been on about ) and finally Brock (the biggest dog of them all - right at the back - who also lives with us. I hope everyone is alright today and that you laugh about the size comparison of the dogs and have a good day. πŸ˜€

Ha ha your right there, and my grand daughter just brought her new little pomchi to let me see who will be staying with us occasionally too. Xx

Animals as pets are so important in our lives by what they bring into it the peace they give us so unconditionally, the best years of my life were when I was a fur parent and those started early in mine my first dog was when I was 13.

Yes Anthony they are very important in our lives they give us something to look forward to. They know how to say thank you, just that long wet tongue across your hand or face to say thanks for being there. Wow there's nothing like that feeling. X

Thank you! Dogs are the best!! Well, cats, too.

Hi Maureen. I'm just laughing at poor snipe as he blended in so well to the car boot enterior I hadn't spotted him until u mentioned he was there.. Hope your well and your dog family all walked or chauffeured and watered. Mel x

Snipe went for his check up yesterday after castration and he has an infection now he's on antibiotics he has his E collar on so he keeps bumping into things all the time . He has to go back Monday and Friday next week. He hasn't lost his appetite that's for sure. I'm praying that everything goes well in November for you, keep your spirits up love Maureen x

in reply to Maureenclayton

Poor Snipe maybe we could start a site for our furry friends with lots of cuddles wags and chasing tails,Balls and whatever else they choose to chase. My cat shadow far too lazy to do anything but eat and sleep. Here's wishing snipe a speedy recovery. Love mel xxx

Love one of your phrases Kemety (balls) considering Snipe has just had a castration lol. πŸ€£πŸ˜‚πŸ˜…

in reply to Maureenclayton

Oh dear I'm afraid I forgot about that unfortunate event.. My cat shadow had the same procedure but at least no female cat πŸ™€ owners will be chasing us for cat support allowance as he's Not the daddy haxxx

Maureenclayton profile image
Maureenclayton in reply to

Cat support allowance lol. How long did it take before shadow was ok ? Just I thinking I can understand why the vet wants Snipe to go back on Monday to make sure the antibiotics are working, but then again next Friday ? I'm not sure that's necessary. I mean of course I will take him it's just I'm not feeling up to it at the moment that's all. X

in reply to Maureenclayton

Well maybe a week after the surgery he may need to be checked.. I'm sure if you explain on Monday about your health maybe the vet may say you don't need to return Fri. Shadow was fine after a few days with his pride slightly wounded due to lack of his balls ha but thank God he got it done plus all that spraying stopped so no stinky house win win XX take care and big kiss to all your dog family but a special one to snipe xxx mel xx

Thanks Kemety, I'm sure your right about vets and I will explain on Monday. My daughter has cats she breeds and I was looking after them when she went on holiday but I was very bad, must have been cos there was so many 9 cos I'm ok with my other daughters house cat just the one, mind you he's always out. There lovely, but that spraying wow right up the walls everywhere. She has had a couple of beautiful buildings put in her garden which join onto her house for the cats, unbelievable the amount of toys and climbing equipment for them to run up etc, I think she is working just to keep her cats. That's ok though if it's what keeps her happy. Xx

Ha yes most people treat there pets just as one of the family but my cat shadow acts dafter than what he is cos he's right there when I walk in with shopping bags as he knows good old mels here again with my goodies and he knows exactly how to do cute little poses (well large) in his case to get us to go all 'aaww look at shadow oh your so cute' he is probably laughing his socks off thinking pair of fools I got this pair of clowns like putty in my hands ha ha but I wouldn't be without him now xxx mel xxx
