Good article. I told my friend ri ask her nurse about referral to see if she's suitable for this procedure. The COPD nurse said she's never heard of valves or coils. Unbelievable, I'd have always thought, it's their job to keep up with new treatments. xx

It is also a postcode lottery for treatment as my nearest hospital to do this is Bristol and I am in Cornwall - just too far for me to travel too and fro from and have no family support system so even though I am suitable I can't have it.
