I have lungs of a 114 year old, and I don't feel a day over 113 😂

I am impressed! And not just with the humour I might add.

What a great example to us all as to what we can do and congratulations on the 80 yrs worth of birthdays celebration.

Whilst the warmer weather has its downside for us Copdeans, I believe these long summer evenings of drier weather almost make it seem as though winter is a long time away.

The grandchildren descended yesterday on the way to Southampton for some kind of tour and pleased I was indeed that it was their parents taking them and not my wife and I. Our daughter is celebrating her birthday whilst away with the children yet I reckon the 80 years celebration and enthusiasm beats our daughter's enthusiasm into a cocked hat.

As more of us get out and about, great to see so many in the gardens too, let our thoughts ponder on those who bring us such good news and work out just how many good things we do have to celebrate and the great examples we see of those who work for those of us who could be doing more.

Let us also spend our time thinking also, our prayers if that's what we do, on those less fortunate and do not have the energy or health to be enjoying either the fair weather or good fortune of others. Our thoughts are with you all.

Nice one😀

That makes my lungs older than yours (83) The rest of me is 57 apparently, although it does feel older.😉

Well done I don't think I have ever been told what age my lungs are. Not really interested. All these are just numbers the same with lung function tests. It how you feel and cope that really matters.

Agreed, I have several chronic conditions but fortunately I am asymptomatic in all of them, except for the prostate problem and hopefully that's being sorted in two weeks. Apart from being a little slower(and slightly more breathless) I feel fine and cope with everything that's thrown at me.

Two years ago I was told that I had the lungs of a 90 yr old😧- I was only 76 😟! I want to know who is this 90yr old, who's got my lungs and - how did this mix up happen?

Hello. That made me smile. I felt the same way when my tests show the lungs of a 95 year old. I'm 43. 😅😅😅
