Hi and welcome to the family 58ender. If you have any questions just ask there is always someone to help. Were you given a ventalin inhaler too. Most people with COPD have a rescue inhaler too.

Maybe someone else could could help with this. As I am no expert but I would have thought you would have been given a reliever inhaler too. For sudden breathlessness. I Maybe wrong. I only know what is done for people in the uk. And most people have a reliever and a proventer inhaler.

Hi

I would tend to agree with earlier post about having a ventolin inhaler for when you get breathless. As you have seretide I would imagine you have experienced breathlessness when exercising

Take care

Hi welcome have had COPD 12 yrs + there are a lot of ways to help exercise as much as possible, breathing exercise. I sniff Eucalyptus Oil which Nurse at Chest Clinic this week said helps to keep Airways open also I try to eat more as I was lviving on so little as no appetite we use more energy to breathe because of COPD

in reply to Christabella153

Hi Christabella 153, can you tell me a bit more about the eucalyptus oil please? like how often do you sniff it and do you put it on a hankie? it's pretty strong, do you have to dilute it?
