As for finding others close by - there used to be a facility on here whereby you could insert your post code and you would see straight away, but I don't know if it has been abandoned. Maybe one of the members will know.

Hi cfhrissyrose sorry for the delay as I have been feeling awful until this afternoon,my pain has eased the tablets changed and I am able to cope better,I had a scan also today for abdominal cancers which was all clear so a lot to be thankful for ,many thanks hope you are well

Hi Chrissyrose welcome to the friendliest site on HU. I live in Edinburgh. Have been dx with COPD since 2006. But I try not to let it rule my life. As do many with the same condition hope you enjoy your time on the site there are a lot of knowagable people on this site. Who would love to help you take care xxx

Hi again chrissyrose forgot to add, I had very recently been diagnosed with Nsip Fibrosis, I have a lot to learn about this condition, but I have complete faith I the fantastic doctors that care for me.
