Update for ACV.

Morning All,

After my miraculous increase in lung power on the 13th July, which I credited ACV for, I did a few tests using ACV and Mullein tea. 10 weeks later I have come to the conclusion that neither ACV or Mullein tea have little or no effect on COPD. I have not used either now for 3 weeks and I am good. Though last night I did take my last Clavulin for a little upper respiratory problem, self doctored, nothing too bad. Possible more prevention than cure. Today superb.

I put the improvement on 13th July down to quitting smoking 7 years ago, only 10 a day habit, and this fine Italian air with doing whatever to can to the maximum effort possible, use it or lose it, not the ACV as I first thought, twas a total coincidence. Over the last 4 years on 3 occasion I have felt my lungs clear. you can actually feel the air getting to parts of your lungs it does not usually frequent, just feels different. Sadly after 2 hours the breathing would return to it's COPD state.

The improvement is not as it was but I have retained at least 50% of it which to me is absolutely brilliant. Maybe I will get another improvement hit someday but if I do not, well, Que Sera Sera. There is a good chance of it I reckon. So if Someone wants nearly a kilo of Dried Mullein leaf I have some here you can have. Nice tea though. I made it in a tea pot and let in mash for 10 or 15 mins with the tea cosy on.

Now have to make plans for an extended life maybe. Did not expect to get to 65 let alone 70 and still going strong.. Reckon I might hang on for the old telegram from Charlie or however is on the throne. That is if we are not a republic by then.

Ciao for now.. R.

Good to hear about your continued improvement. I strongly doubted the ACV having anything to do with it - my thinking was "mind over matter". Like the placebo effect.

You would have to think it did wouldn't if the 1st time you took ti the improvement was immediate. We live and learn. cheers.

On second thoughts my mind would have to be super strong to get the better of COPD. In my case I do not think that would be possible.

A BBC programme did some tests on the effectiveness of Apple Cider Vinegar on inflammation, weight loss and cholesterol levels.....you can see the findings on their News website under Health.

At least you tried something which is no bad thing. Good to be open minded and hope you stay as well as you can.

Great photo. Xxxx

Cheers Sassy. If you do not try you do not know is my thinking. What do they say,if it does not kill you it makes you stronger.

Hi

Good post not many would come back and report that their first conclusion was incorrect.

Stopping smoking and clean fresh air as to be a bonus.

What a charming photograph, really lovely, and at least acv doesn't do any harm.
