Hi, looks like you enjoyed yourselves. I have never been camping, it looks a great way to holiday by the sea, which I love. Do you find your breathing is much better by the coast. I do, I wonder if it is salt in the air. Love Margaret x

My breathing was fantastic scopiolass! I was so scared, in case I was a liability, I don't know what it was, whether it was being outside in the sea air, being occupied with the grandchildren or the exercise...whatever it was it worked....back home now and feeling congested. We had to walk uphill to the toilets, however everyone else was out of breath too....apart from the children lol

Great news - it looks like good fun xx

Tam, maybe try Glamping, the pods were only £5.00 extra per night ie £30.00...you would need to pump the beds up or use the pump on the car...it's just the same as camping...there was one right next to us!

Well done nicgum

All that fresh air and exercise.

I took my daughter all over camping when she was 3+.

We once had 13 and a half weeks in France! Not very good at navigating but weren't in a rush LOL.

Then progressed to a tiny caravan and drove until we had a 1/4 tank of fuel left so had many adventures. Even the thunderstorms were exciting in our 'tardis'.

So glad you enjoyed it. Hope there are many more weekends like it.

Kindness always

SK

Nobody is in a rush in France SK, we found that out when we go to folk festivals with the pipeband I am in lol! They have no sense of time at all! which is fine except for the tuning of bagpipes & the atmosphere & the temperament of musicians lol! You were very, very brave! That is something I would have loved to do x

About 9 years ago, we bought an old campervan. It was the best thing we ever had. We would go with family members for a good laugh around the camp fire, playing silly games or on our own.

Waking up to the twitter of the birds was brill. It didn't matter if we were only camped in a farmers field, it was just so relaxing and peaceful. We just forgot about all our troubles and chilled out.

When, my partner lost his job and we had to let it the van go. We were gutted.

I'm on my own now but, those days were some of the best times we ever had together. Ohhh, I'm getting nostalgic now lol. Glad you had such fun anyway nicgum xx
