Hi Katieoxo60, I think I must be missing something here. I have been using this site for a few months now and it hasn't changed! Well mine hasn't anyway. Is there a specific part of the site that you have found has changed or is it the whole site.? I think its a great site and forum. hugs xx
Hello Huggs, it is the whole site I was sent an email to try it out. Not all members have the changes yet is the impression I got from the email. Some of us have been selected to trial it I guess.
Thanks Katie, Lucky you. I didn't even know there was going to be a new website. I have not had a computer all that long and have just fumbled and bumbled my way around, making all sorts of mistakes. Just when I think I have something conquered I do something utterly incomprehensibly stupid. My latest stunt was when trying to send a link to friends, I sent them all my emails instead! Have no idea yet how I did it. Thankfully, they were in and just deleted the link. A link did arrive, but it was my emails. They said they were going to blackmail me and everything! I had nothing to hide so I said go ahead and try! They are close friends and just deleted the link immediately. Glad you are enjoying the new site layout. Take care, hugs xx
Understand what you are saying Huggs, my laptop is new and it's not the same as my PC it does weird things now and again, like deleting when I haven't pressed the delete button. One day we will become masters of the machine if we keep trying take care we will master it xx

Hi Huggs. This site was upgraded a few months ago to how it is now. It used to be a bit different. No " categories " in the side box for one thing. Maybe that's what they mean by the " new site ".
Hi Puff, I have only used the site for a few months so I was unsure if Katie had been on the site previously, had a spell of it and returned to the way it is now. As I am sure you have read her initial response to me was that she thought it may be a trial and only some people were selected to use it. Time will tell I guess! Take care. hugs xx

Yes, you got that right Puff, and Struggle seems part of it to. I know nothing about these things, but apart from occasional glitches it seems ok. I have just remembered that before I joined the site, and just dropped and hung around with participating, I noticed there was a lot of trolls and people going on about Satanism, black magic etc, so maybe they are upping their security. We'll know soon enough. You maybe right and people have complained. Take care. hugs xx
Today's new design is simple and clean, which is great, but really hard to use on a mobile device.
Thanks for that I don't use mobile but might give it a try to see what you mean.

Glad to hear I'm not the only one on this new site. I find it much better but my sights not AI so the print is better and the colours for me. Do you find it better?
Yes Im quite happy with it all so far new things are always a little strange,will get used to it quite quickly I think.It feels light and bright doesnt it. Janexx

Haha no worries Huggs I think we are a few random followers who have been asked to have a go and see how it feels and any hiccups along the way as its new they are expecting a few .But so far so good,I wouldnt think it would be that long before we are all using the new layout so to speak . Janexx

Hi Toci, I haven't used the site for long so don't know what it was like before. I kind of lurked about it reading and learning from you all before I joined. It is worrying that members were lost at the last change. Maybe they have taken account of this and are trying to make the site more similar to the last one, while maintaining the improvements of this one. The three people on this page who have been chosen to test this new site seem to like it, and have noticed some improvements. I forget where it is on this site, but you will be able to find it. It tells you how many members there are and when I joined in was in the four thousands, and now it is in the seven thousands. It is probably under members or something. We will just have to be patient I suppose, but it would be good if a moderator came on to tell us that a new site with improvements is likely in the future. I used to (before I became too ill) to be a regular answerer on Yahoo! Answers. I was too ill to answer questions as I dealt with serious health issues that came up which were demanding and draining. I recently went back to the site for a look and it has changed beyond recognition and I could not get around it at all. I had reached level 6 and they had all my details wrong. I will not be bothering about it meantime. Change for the sake of change is always annoying. If it makes things more difficult or loses members then it is probably not worth it. Of course there is always going to be a period of adapting but beyond that is not really acceptable. Hope you are well Toci and take care. hugs xx

I have had a few peeps mention that they pop from the new to the old I found out by accident that I agreed to Beta with my Chrome browser but if I post link in IE it is the old site. Beta does not like IE9. Which is good because I do not either it is sooooooooooooo SLooooooooooow!!!!!
