Has anyone had liquid oxygen supplied in Benidorm?

My husband has liquid oxygen supplied by Air Liquide and we are thinking of going to Benidorm for a week, but have been told we will need to arrange for oxygen when we are there, has anyone done this?, and if so, what do we do, and what happens when we are there? Thanks

Hi stone, he got an Inogen One last week to enable us to go away for a few days whenever we want, but the oxygen nurse told us if we wanted to go abroad we would need to have oxygen supplied whilst we are there.

Contact the Alicante BRitish Consulate they will send you the necessary forms, in English. You can find their contact on the internet. You need a support letter from doctor or respiratory nurse. Need to set this in motion at least 6 weeks before you go. They only do liquid oxygen in Spain. Paid for on national health. Need to have health card..

You can get more info from Dept Of Health (UK) travelling abroad dept.This is all supplied free of charge on a reciprocal basis between Spain & UK. If you travel with Thomson holidays they will even supply in flight oxygen free.
