I had a dog, a dachshund which had a little bony lump on its head. Because of that we called him Socrates. he was a very wilful dog. As soon as we said B... He understood biscuit!!! and he would yelp! he loved running after squirrels in the woods, but he never caught any, because sausage dogs don't climb on trees! But they do go into dens, which is why they were originally bred for! He gave 16 years of lovely life to all of us. I bet if I say B... he will tilt his head from heaven!

I have two dachshound one is called chippie boy who had major surgery on his back a year ago, and has done very well.

the other on is called bodie boy they are wilful, the vet said they are not easy to train, i wouldnt be without them.
