I have had my oxygen for about 6 weeks now and have used it in the house, at the exercise class and at the supermarket.
Yesterday we went to the park we usually sit in the car and watch everyone with their children and dogs as hubby can't walk far. I suddenly said I think I am going for a walk, so I did, me and my oxygen together, I pulled my oxygen on a little trolley, it was wonderful I went for a nice stroll watched the ducks being fed and was not at all worried about getting back, although hubby was a bit concerned. I shall be off again today weather permitting, and might try the shopping centre next week, lots of chairs there if I need to sit down.
It has given me some freedom back wish I had been given it much earlier, all the stuff I could have done in the Summer, still there is always next year.

The nurse ordered one with the oxygen, air products bought it to me, have had to adapt it a bit took all the loose straps off the bag and fastened each side with some velcro. I have just ordered another one off ebay for £15.99 so I can have one for in the house and one for going out, the wheels are muddy today and I have to clean them.
Well done Polly. You have eased my mind greatly, The thought of having to have oxygen has given me depression and nightmares but I feel a deal better after having read your post, Thank you. Keep it going.
