I'm actually better and I struggle much more in cold weather. I think we are all so different in how this disease affects us.

Don't worry about moaning, I do it a lot! Yesterday and the day before I was struggling, especially in the night, even resorted to using 4 puffs of Ventolin with spacer. I don't normally find it does much but it did help quite a bit. Not today, but past 2 days I've kept my curtains and window closed during the day and that helps a lot when it's hot out. If you have dark curtains it can be a bit miserable but mine are fairly light so i hardly notice the difference. Libby

You moan away if that's how you feel. It is difficult for lots of us.

There are a lucky few who like it hot but not many.

Take care and keep as cool as you can.

I'm a heat person - for me my breathing is easier but would qualify that by saying when outside with a breeze. Inside I use a fan to circulate the air and that helps tremendously. :) xx

I'm having a difficult time at the moment, for me I think its several things, the heat, the high pollen and the humidity, although humidity has not been too high.

I am the same in extreme cold, rainy days and damp.

I do manage quite well even though it is challenging at the moment.

I did a blog of looking after you in hot weather, also Peeg did one too which may be of help.

Try what my missus does. Fill a couple of plastic 2Lt pop bottles with water and maybe a little fruit cordial, put in the freezer overnight. When you get hot, take one out wrap it in a linen tea towel and sit it on your lap. Works like a reverse hot water bottle, and supplies you with a cool refreshing drink as you need it.

What a good idea. I will try that thanks.

Grey skies and cool here yesterday so it was much easier to breathe....but I can see more blue skies today and its getting warmer.

Medium temperatures suit me best, very cold or hot is terrible

I will try the frozen water idea...I have used those blue freezer pack things in the past

My husband has really struggled in the dry heat we have been having - and is damn awful if the cold weather. The best I have ever seen him (since COPD) was in the dome at The Eden Project - extremely hot and humid (I almost passed out!) and he almost marched round (slight exaggeration). This is such a personal disease and seems to affect everyone differently. Did buy the boots cooling mist spray which helps a bit. Take care TAD xxx
