Uromune vaccine

Has anyone tried Uromune vaccine for constant bladder infections - if so I’d like to know if it’s helped.

I don't want to put you off but I tried it a few years ago and it caused my overactive bladder to go into overdrive! However, I do react to all manner of medications, so do go ahead and consider it. V

Hi just wanted to let you know I tried the Uromune vaccine. I have come out in a horrific rash on upper inner thighs and it seems to be spreading. Consulted gp yesterday and she advised me to stop vaccine as this is the only way I will know if this is causing the rash. Gave me a telling off about trying unlicensed meds - I genuinely thought the vaccine was licensed. Advised to get hubby to take photos of the rash and send to the providers of the vaccine to see what their response is.

I'm sorry to hear that Uroumune has caused you such problems. One always has high hopes of finding a 'cure' for bladder problems.

I recently searched Uromune vaccine, saw your post and interested in knowing how you made out with the vaccine. It is not available in the US but I am hoping the Uromune will be successful and available. Best to you.

I haven’t had a UTI for the past 4 months which is like a miracle for me so I’m assuming Uromune has helped. I also have been using Vagifem so it may be a combination of both. There are so many people suffering with recurring UTI’s and it’s such a relief when any kind of treatment helps. Best wishes
