Hi, did try it once, but it seems another thing my stomach does not agree with. I have gone back on Solifenacin, but it does cause me constipation, so only on 5mg which was very helpful before. Only been back a week . Not incontinent but pressure all the time of wanting to wee. I have read your other comments over the past year. Have you found anything that helps.

Hi, I am taking MIRABEGRON (50mg) and 3 high dose pumkiin seed oil also doing my best with pelvic floor exercises. This gives me some good times when I get excited then next day it's back to the usual...alas. My doc. has said I've to try the MIRABEGRON for 4 months before judging!!! I think she just wants a bit of peace from me -(Ha -Ha) Like you not incontinent but needing to wee all the time some days and nights. Please keep in touch and let me know how you get on.

I did have the choice of Mirabegnon, but only 25mg. The thing is I am on blood pressure tablets and do have palpitations occasionally. So was reluctant to try it. I see you were on Solifenacin, why did you change. It has changed my life I rarely go out socially. Do you have an urology consultant? Sorry to ask all these questions wondering how others cope.

Hi solifenacin helped but it is one of the drugs that is thought to make dementia more likely. My husband suffered with Alzheimer's and although I wouldn't know I was a victim if it happened to me,I would not like folks to see me the way my husband was! Don't worry about Questions (it's how one might find the answer after all) meant to ask you what age you are if you don't mind? I'm 83 and oab is worse as I've aged though I've had it all of my adult life. I don't go out socially unless with those who understand and don't have urology consultant. Husband had prostate probs. and to be honest I was not impressed with urology team Do you have consultant? Me asking qs now!

Hi, I am 75. My OAB started last November. Just out of the blue, not suffered with any type of this prior. I am supposed to have an appt with Hospital next month. I have a prolapsed bladder, have for a few years, no bother to me and still not. My pressure to wee is all the time. Solfenacin the first time brought some relief. But with it came horrible constipation so came off, realised I could cope with the constipation more than this wanting to wee all the time. Only been back one week, hoping it kicks in soon. Haven’t even had my hair cut. I suffer anxiety which also doesn’t help. Do you find mirabegnon better than Solfenacin. I know some have a mix of the two.

Thanks for info, my OAB has been with me a long, long time, to an extent I got used to it but it worsened and became unbearable and embarrassing as I got older and it would be lovely to be "normal"I don't have constipation with anything even codeine which I take for pain (peripheral neuropathy) I also have anxiety - a natural worrier- ! Don't know if Mirabegron better but the possible side effect of Solifenacin (ie dementia) really is a worry to me but sometimes I feel desperate to take the two (would gp prescribe both?)Some persons on the form say constipation can effect OAB...who knows? Do keep in touch and we can compare notes - even find an answer?

Good luck
