Any new research on IC? Bladder pain?

Does anyone know of any new research on interstitial cystitis? I really hope they find better ways to manage this

I have suffered with this disease for 30 years now. The only relief I get is with bladder installations of a medication called dmso. It works for about 10 to 12 weeks for me and then I receive another one. It’s a horrible disease!

Sorry to hear you’ve had it all this time. Do you find any particular foods or drinks affect you more ?

Definitely. I have to stay away from acidic foods and drinks and anything spicy. I have a pretty bland diet

Thank you for sharing, that’s very interesting. I haven’t heard about the role of this in IC before
