Prescribed Rapatha or Nexlizit

Had annual appointment with my Cardiologist today in New Orleans. He wants to get my ldl below 55, which is now recommended for my age. He wants me to choose between Rapatha/Praluent or Nexlizit. I take Rosuvastatin and Ezetimibe. He will keep me on statin and Ezetimibe with Rapatha or Praluent. Nexlizit contains Ezetimibe so would still keep me on statin. Does anyone have experience taking either of these? Thanks.

yes. Been on Repatha because I am statin intolerant. Great alternative. Lipid panel numbers cut in half to low normal range in 2 weeks, without statins. Been on Praluent also with same results. Glad to be away from statins. You may want to stop statins and see if Repatha is all you need. You can always go back on statins if needed
