2nd Stent being done on 26th (Cancelled)

So I got a call yesterday on the morning I was supposed to go in, it was the Consultant herself calling me. She said that she had looked at my images again from 5 weeks ago, if we do stents because it's a long section they could close up again in the future, and suggested I have a mini graft through my ribs. I was a bit taken a back by this, this Op had never been mentioned before, and they didn't mention about the artery closing up again when I had 3 stents put in 5 weeks ago, she'd even written a letter to my GP saying she had put in 3 stents and would do the 'PCI to LAD' in due course. This felt like to me, they were trying to fob me off to a different hospital because they wouldn't do the graft, so I'd be off their books! it pissed me off a bit, she went on to say I could still have the stents if I wanted, which I d . They're obviously busy because she cancelled my stents there and then, but offered me to go to a different place to have major surgery all be it through the ribs, still a 6 week recovery though! A friend of mine who works for the NHS said I should complain through a site called PALS.
