Echocardiogram lvsd

Hello everyone I was diagnosed with afib a few months ago and had an echo a few weeks ago it has brought up lvsd of 40-45, and I have been referred to arrhythmia clinic, I have not seen a cardiologist as this has all been arranged by the a and e consultant I saw. I am currently on 6.25 bisoprolol and the consultant wants this increased to 7.5 as my bpm were reading 115 at echo, but I suffer from anxiety disorder and was really really anxious at the echo so has anyone had a high bpm at echo due to anxiety I am concerned the meds have been increased because of this reading, I exercise regularly and my watch readings have been fine as the bisoprolol makes me feel so ill another dose hike is not welcome although I realize this is all for my own good I presume I will be finally seeing a cardiologist at the arrhythmia clinic

Do you take actual Blood pressure and pulse readings sitting down calmly and using a cuff?

Might be worth taking such readings morning and evening under the right conditions for 3 or 4 days. Compare them to your watch but the latter devices do have flaws.

Absolutely understand this white coat syndrome might have given false readings .

Unfortunately can't take blood pressure at the moment as the machine fails as my bpm so erratic it's not stabilized yet, it's a new blood pressure monitor too. So will try when I can get some readings !

I was thinking if doing just that we take our blood pressure regularly but it just comes up as error reading now as my bpm are so erratic so I will have a word in the pharmacy this week it could be helpful thank you for your kind thought it really is such a help on here when you don't know what to do next I have had some really useful info.

If you only experience accelerated heart rates when you're anxious or tense, the cardiologist may find it helpful if you would bring a chart of your heart rates morning, noon& evenings to prove that the great percentage of times you don't have a rapid resting heart rate. This may avoid your having to take a higher dose of bisoprolol. This has worked for BP too.
