Hi everyone, just to share my latest update. I’m done my second MRI last Friday after 3 months diagnosed with Myocarditis and my result turn into positive which is no more inflammation. My Troponin Test also previously from 0.28 and now back to 0.14 which was borderline 0.14.
However, I still sometimes felt chest pain and whenever I try press my chest and feel pain at certain areas. I will having another round of check up next week to follow up on the Troponin Test.
Can anyone share if still feel chest pain even the MRI show no more inflammation. Sometimes I felt lost and overthinking about this situation.

Hi, I am sorry you did not yet get any replies yet, hopefully you will though. I have not had myocarditis, but I would have thought if you still get pain it is wise to rest your heart as it is still recovering. So do go carefully. I just wonder if maybe the MRI cannot pick up all inflammation, ie, on a very small level. Usually pain means there is some inflammation, as it is the process of inflammation that causes pain. However the results of your MRI and Troponin level are certainly encouraging that you are going in the right direction towards recovery! Just be careful with exercise etc. I hope others who have had myocarditis will reply to you. Do repost your message again if you don't hear from others in case this got missed this weekend.
