Right Side Heart Failure with Pulmonary Hypertension

I would love to hear from anyone with the is condition and how they are finding living with it.

Doctors who specialise in this area. My mum was diagnosed at 81 and it's been quite a shock.

We are for life and want to have as much time with her as possible .

Hi I have Dilated Cardiomyopathy which has caused severe left side heart failure with severe pulmonary hypertension. My understanding is PAH can fail the right side so in my case when that happens that’s it for me.

I am so sorry to hear that. it's never easy.

At the moment with mum she is o.k. But I pep one day this condition can be better managed so outcomes are much better.

Hello Natali999, I’m so sorry to hear that your mum has been diagnosed with PH. Sadly I lost my mum to it 13 years ago when she was only in her late 60’s. The charity who helped increase my knowledge were a small charity called PHA UK based in Sheffield. You can contact them and subscribe to their quarterly magazine which is full of advice and inspirational stories. Google them for more information. Remember everyone’s story is different but knowledge is power. Look after your mum and treasure all the time in the world with her. PH treatment has come a long way since my mum had it so try and stay positive. Good luck and best wishes to you and your mum ❤️🧚🏼‍♀️
