Hi, I was on Mounjaro but came off it after 11 weeks as i was ill with cardio issues, quite weak, fast heart rate, dehydrated so came off it to try and get better. The consultant advised i stay on it which i did initially but ended up back in hospital so taking a break for now....

Hello , so sorry to hear it wasn't working for you ! Fast heart rate one of side effects , it's scares me also .

Hi; I know this thread is quite old but I wondered how those of you taking Wegovy or Mounjaro are getting on? Or whether anyone using either has experienced episodes of high heart rate or atrial fibrillation? I have PAF and am trying to decide whether the risks outweigh the benefits!

Hi I did use Wegovy for 3 month . Weirdly I didn't have any AF episodes while using Wegovy. But my heart rate was always higher than usual 90 -94 . I did feel ok . I stop using it after 3 month , because I get worried about my higch heart rate . Wegovy doesn't made me worst . I may use its again in future , for now I am trying loose weight naturally . That’s very helpful thank you. I think I may give it a few more weeks dieting, the high heart rate worries me too. I’m hyper vigilant re heart rate because of the AF!

Apparently elevated heart rate it's side effect of Wegovy , but to some people . But strangely when I use Wegovy I didn't have AF episodes. Not sure how to explain it .

That’s why it’s so hard to manage….it often seems totally random!
