Good morning all. Three days since i had a mid section LAD PCI and feeling very sore and tired. Had some complications and a lot of chest pain during the procedure and wondered if others had experienced this? Cardiologist is happy but had a reaction to the morphine so spent 12 hours vomiting afterwards. How long does it take for the pain to ease? Just wanted to hear other stories and recovery times. Thank you 😀

Hello :-)

I have not had this procedure done even though I can relate to Morphine making you sick has the same affect on me

I am just guessing but like most of us on here no matter what we have had done it can vary from person to person how long it takes them to feel better

The BHF Nurses are really good to talk to and I wonder if giving them a ring might help

I hope you feel a bit better now :-) x

Hi,

Last year i had Angioplasty but couldnt have stents fitted. The procedure was horrible and it took around a month for everything to go back to pre op values. I was and still am very active. Shortly after recovering from the angioplasty i had a bypass x2 and i am so glad i got the bypass instead of stents.
