Hello
I am sorry I know nothing about this but members might see your post and reply that do
However I do know the BHF Nurses know such a lot about heart conditions and in the meantime you may want to give them a ring I am sure they will be really helpful in answering any concerns and questions you have

as far as travel insurance goes, you’ll need to look at the travel insurance documents to see whether you need to tell them about ANY health change.
As to what this means for your health, this is one for your doctor or consultant, in my view.
I too have this. Brought on by stress from work. Mine is controlled with bisoprolol. I avoid alcohol and caffeine. I declared it on my travel insurance. It did go up , but not too bad considering the risk should you not disclose. Since my recovery, I have felt runs when I’ve overdone it. But on the whole I’m getting back to normal, including exercising and long walks.
Wishing you a speedy uneventful recovery.
Hi if you've been given a diagnosis of any kind then yes you do need to tell your travel insurer. Whether this will increase your premium will be down to each individual insurance company but if you don't tell them them you'll invalidate your policy.
I would ask your Dr to explain what the condition is & what it means for you, your Dr has your medical history.
Good luck
