stent blocked ?

had stent January , thought I was doing so well . 4 weeks into my cardiac rehab and going for long weeks and doing gentle circuits once a week , but the last couple of days , I’ve just felt tired breathless and a few times in bed my left leg keeps aching . Stopped the statins for a week to see if it’s that , but more worrying got ache in my left arm yesterday when I wasn’t doing anything . I’m terrified the stent has blocked or I have a clot somewhere . I have managed to get gp appointment tomorrow but the worry of all of this is starting to get me down . I fell like I’m one step forward 2 back . I do t want to keep pitching up at an and e for every little ache and niggle , but I’m scared it’s not just paranoia and something is wrong . Going for a walk today and see how I get on .sorry for the long post . Just want t to feel normal again 😪

I'm pleased you've got a Dr appointment, hope all goes well. Don't overdo the walk today until you've been checked out.

I know, but hang in there until you're checked.

It’s so hard I still panic sometimes we are all the same.

Hi , hopefully it's nothing and the doctor will set up the right appointments to get you checked.

I think and I'm not sure if this applies to us all who have had heart issues is this,

I go to the gym now 4 times a week, 2 days is resistance training and two days are solid cardio work. I also go for long walks on the weekends.

All are strenuous activities but I feel fine. But there are days when I'm doing something as simple as the ironing and I feel like I need to catch my breath.

I used to ponder on these odd moments but came to the conclusion that if i recover well and i feel well during and after strenuous excericse or a solid walk then these odd moments are just odd moments, which we all probably experienced prior to our heart related issues but now have forgotten about and we see these as new symptoms to be concerned about.

It's like when you have children, after a while you can't even remember what life was like before them, but after children the brain does a memory reset and all you remember is life with children, maybe it's the same when people have a serious health issue.

Anyway I hope you get the answer and it's all fine :)

How are you doing? I feel the same way as you. I had a stent three weeks ago and don't feel any better than before.

Please keep us updated. All the best and god bless.
