stopped Propranolol

HI, I stopped taking Propranolol after 10 years of 40mg twice a day due to Bradycardia, I have weened down to zero over a 6 month period, I am now 10 days clear and my heart rate when i wake up is still in the mid 40s, has anyone done this and has their heart rate come back up and how long did it take?. Hi there , I have been on propanolol for quite a few years but I was put on it for anxiety issues. I take 150mg slow release once a day . If I miss taking them I notice after about 8 hours my heart feels like its racing and I do get palpitations.Have you stopped them yourself or on the advice of a doctor ?

Doctor stopped them because my heart rate was 40bpm

No Symptons at all, feeling good.
