Thank you for the link Milkfairy, I'm just looking into the different angina and heart symptoms as mine was the traditional chest starting off like pain I'd take gaviscon for and then went to a new level but with chest arm hand shoulder. My mum didn't have the chest bit but everything else for sure. Much appreciated 🙏:-)

Having read only the symptoms as yet, even that doesn't go anywhere near to describing my symptoms which were breathless for the weeks leading up to it and severe indigestion for 3 days. The symptoms I see on there are just the usual ones that most men get that everyone knows. Chest pain, anxiety, sweating, nausea , pain up neck and down arm. I h ad none of those except a very mild tingling on day 3..

Any thoughts on what you would like to see change? Or more of?

As women we should be aware that heart disease effects us too.

Education of healthcare professionals involved in caring for women.

Nurses, Midwives, Health Visitors, GPs, Obstetricians,Cardiac nurses and Cardiologists.

Women heart patients should be involved in the planning of future services.

More women being involved in the design of studies as well as being participants.

The recommendations of the Lancet Women's and Cardiovascular Disease Commission Report incorporated into the NHS.

That's just as a starter!

Sounds like a very good starter to me. That would be wonderful. I guess the cogs of change grind slowly? Do you have a link to the report that you mention?
