Have not posted for a while but read the post of new and old members every day. I hope everyone had a good Christmas. Was lovely to spend it with family . It was a very hard journey for me this last year due to another cardiac arrests. Was blue lighted to hospital and had a cardiac arrests as soon as I arrived in hospital spent 10 days in hospital. Spoke to the cardiology specialist about what had happened. Only to be told my heart don't work or pump as good as it was. That's me breaking it down from medical jargon. Was sent home to rest and told to do nothing but rest. 3 week's later I walked up the stairs when I felt very light headed. Holding on to the banister my wife called a ambulance that turned up very quickly the paramedics where very nice. I was fitted to a ecg machine then taken straight to hospital. On arrival to the local hospital they deemed it that the ambulance next to us was taken off the road to help me . So now I have 4 paramedics and the wife in this ambulance. Heart starter pads where put on. Once I come round in resus due to another cardiac arrests. I was sent to a ward for 7 days put on a infusion drive don't no what was in it .I. use of seen 4 to 5 different specialists all telling me and my wife different things. Finally got to speak to someone who told us what is happening. Very nice man took us to a private room and explained everything. The heart muscle is severely damaged and that I must take it easy. I have a appointment to see what they are going to do next in the new year so hopefully some good news for a change.
