Hi, I've had PVCs for 10 years, and take daily Flecainide and Verapamil. All was fine until a month ago when I was in Hospital with Periorbital Cellulitis, following weeks with a virus, which was painful and stressful. While on Hospital , my PVCs got much worse, and have carried on that way since (that was 5 weeks ago). They go on for hours every day and it's driving me mad. I've had 2 episodes of raised heartbeat (95 and 100bpm, although that's not particularly high I know). An ECG didn't capture anything, I've got an Echo soon and a 7-day holter. I've been taking an extra dose of medication but it doesn't always help. The consultant thinks my infection and all the stress may have triggered the PVCS, but has anyone had daily PVCs that go on for hours at a time? When I was first tested 10 years ago, the problem was found to be RVOT and I had 2 bouts of tachycardia. Cardiac MRI came back fine, but I also have a leaky heart valve. Thanks for reading this, it's really affecting my quality of life now.
