First meeting with surgeon tmrw
That's great news about your CT angiogram results 👍🏾. It really helps to put your mind at rest. Good luck tomorrow and I hope you manage to think of some good questions x
My question to the surgeons was along the lines of “is there anything I can do to make things go smoothly” .
I shudder when patients write lists of questions. Surgeons are in very short supply and I think we should avoid occupying their time unnecessarily.
I also don’t want to know the blow by blow details of the op. I am squeamish.
I guess I am too much old school.
I know all will go well tomorrow. You are entering the zone of excellence in the NHS.

Ahh hope everything goes well for tomorrow x
Hello
I am so glad the CT angiogram results came back good this is really positive news
It is good that you will be meeting with your Surgeon to and please let us know how it goes
As for the questions just keep jotting down things as they come in your head the more you try to think what you want to ask I think our minds go blank but what I do is just keep jotting things down as I think of them which I will be thinking about you tomorrow
Good Luck x
Good news on the CT, and hopefully tomorrow will put you a little more at ease meeting the surgeon and talking about moving forward. Good luck and hope it goes well tomorrow 🤞
Good luck with your appointment today JessicaRed. Im new to the JR but I was very impressed with what I’ve seen so far in Cardiology. Let us know how you get on
Glad your ct was clear. Hope your meeting goes well.
My surgeon rattled off all the info that I needed without being asked. My most important question was time scale.Good luck, I'm sure it will go smoothly x
Hi JessicaRed. I had replacement aortic valve and triple bypass at JR 5 years ago. I was 77 at the time and I was just relieved that they were prepared to operate on me. I had no questions: was just happy to put my trust in the team. I'm sure all will go well for you. Margah
Hi, JessicaRed,
