CONFUSED

Hi,

For the las few weeks I have been unable to walk less and less, feeling sickly, light headed and legs feeling weak.

Las week I tried a short walk, but suddenly I felt I was going to pass out, managed to get back home, hanging onto anything I could grab.

Rang heart nurse and was told to stop water tablet fruesomide, this has made no difference .

Yesterday same symptoms, blood pressure was 60/61, rang heart nurse, she said she didnt know what was going on.?? Im to see her this Monday.

I have had no change in any of my medications, been on them nearly 18months.

Anyone else experienced these symptoms, I feel ok as long as I a dont attempt tog et up and walk around, very scary

My opinion is you have a couple of options, and both may need to consider other explanations than your pre existing cardio vascular condition. Firstly would be an urgent appointment with your GP, ie immediate not waiting, or walk in to A&E. The body is a complex system and your heart condition can be a symptom not just a response to other symptoms. You are clearly anxious and know what is normal for you. The cardio nurses expertise may not be what's required to sort this out.

I\i think maybe a visit to A & E might be the option, the wost they can do is send me away.

Such a low blood pressure could be giving you the symptoms. It’s a long wait until Monday when it’s so low I agree you need seeing sooner. I’d ring my gp.
