Hello I received question concerning Amiodarone I've taken both digoxin and Ami. 200 mg once daily for two years at least with no noticable side effects. I have only one kidney. This does concern me BUT the digoxin caused me.problems from the very beginning. I had BPM Of 180 up and down all the way up to 203 BPM. Since the electrophysiologist done the Cardioversion and started the Amio.
My heart rate rarely exceeds 120. I do admit this medication worries me for long term use. It can have very bad adverse effects on Skin lungs kidneys. ETC. But it does work... wish the best for.all concerned.... JC
