I’ve recently had my Zio xt put on following several episodes I’ve had with random spikes in heart rate to 180-190 for a couple or hours.
I’m due to go to a friends in Belfast next weekend and I wanted to see if we are able to fly with the monitor and if so, anything I’ll need to show at the airport as evidence !
Any help would be much appreciated

I had a Zio patch last year to monitor my heart rhythm too. I did not fly while this was on, but you should’ve received almost like an information booklet with it. On it, there is a number for their customer care service. I would call that number and see if the device needs to put onto flight mode if they have that feature. You should also take a letter where it says that your cardiologist has approved the zio patch for you to wear and make security at the airport aware that you’re wearing one.
I know there are people that fly with a pacemaker on. Hopefully they’ll be able to give you an insight too.
The nurse that attached the zio should have given you a box with the instructions in it... I had this a few weeks ago... I'm sure it said you could fly and there was something in this you could present to security.
If you don't have the box or leaflet then call customer services to see if they can send you something irhythmtech.co.uk/patient/
