Hi 👋,After 5 weeks of feeling amazing after my cardioversion, no breathlessness, loads of energy and zero chest pain I was absolutely gobsmacked on Wednesday when at my post cv check up I was told I was back in AF ! I had been monitoring my HR and it was around 52 so it literally must have happened a day before the check up ! I even asked them if they were sure ! The nurse explained that the cv may still be having an impact as it could have changed the way the elec signal is behaving ? and the long term use of medication will be helping. My calcium score is 0 and everything else is clear which is brilliant. Now putting me forward for an ablation but 11 months wait. Starting to feel really tired again but they have increased meds. Going back to base camp 😔

HiVery much understand your frustration. I haven't noticed your posts before so I looked back at some of them. I haven't been offered any treatment apart from medications. My main worry is the effect it could be having on my cognitive abilities.

I also fully understand what you said in your first post about trying to explain to family and friends what we are going through.

I hang out mainly on the healthunlocked forum specialising in AF as it is more directly relevant. Here other heart conditions are also dealt which I find less compatible.
