hi I’m being swapped from ramaprill to losarten do I have to leave any gap between finishing ramaprill to starting losarten should have asked the doctor but didn’t think about it till after

Always the case I think for a lot of us we think after why did we not ask that

All I know is when my Doctor has swapped my tablets say if I have taken the old one that day she will say start the new one the following day

You could give you pharmacist a quick ring and just check and make sure

I was swapped from Amlodipine to Losartan and started on Losartan straight away without a gap. They work in difference ways, so as one fades the other comes into play.

I now take Nifedipine for Raynauds Syndrome. I just added it to my daily intake on top of the Losartan I take for BP and was told to monitor my BP to check it didn't go too low.
