I am not a medic but you might want to start with getting a thyroid blood test via your GP.Hot and cold are often symptoms of thyroid problems.
I get very cold and my temperature drops (it’s already Low) and the tips of my fingers go white and numb. Normally low BP too.
I was diagnosed with AF mid February this year and started on Edoxaban.
I've started with hot flushes and night sweats again -it seems to have put me back in menopause (I'm 68). Don't know if it's the anticoagulant or not but seems a coincidence. It's not my thyroid, it's been checked and my medication is ok .
A good call though by 10gingercats, you might as well get a thyroid test.

Hi Pixiemayblue
I started day and night sweats after my heart attack 4 years ago! Doctors didn’t seem interested until last year I was given HRT, I tried it for four months but the side effects were awful so came off it and the sweats have returned. The Doctor told me lots of women are still menopausal in their 70 s. All my meds have been checked and have had blood tests. I hope you get some help from your doctor.
