Benefits
I noticed you are under 60. One benefit you many are entitled too, but few claim, is Personal Independence Payment often called PIP. It is not an easy process but my husband was able to claim as he has multiple health issues including a heart problem. You may find this link helpful:
Dear Winter4519
A warm welcome to the forum and hopefully the support and information that it can give you.
Reading your BIO you seem to be in need of both.
One of the first points of call is the government benefit site to see what you are entailed to.
Another one that many forget about now is the citizens advice service.
Maybe if you expanded your boi a little to tell us what stage you are up to in your health journey we maybe a little more help to you.
You are never alone and there is help out here for you.
Take care and please keep us informed.
Hi welcome. Someone mentioned citizens advice and also because you’re over 50 age concern can help you also. I think if your heart function ( Ejection fraction) is 20% and below you automatically qualify. Most of these benefits is payed because of how your life is affected by the illness eg you get too dizzy and might fall, you can’t walk far, you have difficulty breathing, your medication affects you etc. but you won’t get them just because you have an illness. I hope you get through with it. It’s difficult working with heart failure, I did and I also ended up with atrial fibrillation in the end I retired and took my pension early after I felt dizzy at work fell, dislocated my shoulder and ended up with not just heart failure but a damaged shoulder added to it.
Hello,
You have had some good advice already.
I was awarded a Personal Independence Payment PIP.
It's not straightforward to get this benefit.
Definitely get help to fill the form in.
I used this organisation to help me.

Good luck.
Hi. From what I can gather the PIP award is more about the impact that your illness has on you rather than the type of illness you have. If your heart problems are causing you significant problems with daily living (and you can evidence it) then you should be able to claim.
Ican add they must look at can you do it safely timely reliably to a acceptable standard look at pipinfo.net/issues /reliability Remember that these people know nothing about you give them all info Good luck
