I was doing so well, don't worry I should be okay but I've woken up this morning feeling really ill.
I've got a slight temperature and I just feel sick 🤢 and tired 😴 plus a banging headache I've suffered with migraine in the past but this doesn't feel like one.
Back to bed for me

Sorry to hear you are unwell. It seems one step forward and two steps backward for you at the moment. I think you should rest (sorry to nag) but l think it is important to rest for the body to completely heal. I would also recommend speaking to your GP before doing any marathons. Sorry to be a killjoy but l am thinking of you. I am sure you will be up and running in no time, but at the moment give your body a chance to get fit and don’t put extra strain on it. It takes a few weeks to get over pneumonia from the experience l have with caring for my daughter. I hope you soon feel much better and send love and prayers.
Glad to hear that you'll be able to do rehab. As well as help you physically, that should help you cope with the frustration. I get that from yoga (I go to a senior's class with my wife). As well as being a positive and mutually supportive environment, it has taught me how to listen to my body and stretch myself appropriately according to how I feel.
Today is obviously not a day for you to push yourself. Let us know how it goes.
because you sound like a lovely person and because we all know how it feels to have the rug pulled out from under us. I said “a little” protective as I didn’t want you to think I was some kind of mad stalker type, Xx
I can’t deny that!! if there’s a fine line between genius and insanity I find myself toppling over the edge (on the wrong side) several times each day 😂😂
I read your post title and my heart went in my mouth for you!
As tedious as it can be inside the same 4 walls, it’s probably the safest place for you at the minute!
Sorry to chime in but my mum hat is going on and you need to try and think short term boredom for a week for a long term gain of park runs (even as a spectator). I know you know and you’re sensible but sometimes on a good day we can forget just how big an ordeal our bodies have been and are still going through.
I don’t want to keep pushing it in your face but be the tortoise 😉
I thought as I rested after the parkrun and all day yesterday I'll be okay, but this morning it just hit me. Like I said earlier I think being in the crowds at the parkrun I might have picked up a bug.
I've hardly moved from my bed today so hopefully all better tomorrow
