While you are waiting for others that have been where you are if you look to the right side of the page you will see and option that says

Put in Scad and posts on this will come up and the replies they got which may help you in the meantime x

2018 when I had one. If you don't want to feel alone I recommend you search Beatscad. Look in the menu at - Our Services. I was recommended this a few years ago on this Bhf site - thank you Joanie. It's helpful and supportive. Good health.

Hi Nikki ...I had my first scad I. June 2022 and my second in July 2023 ....have they done lots of tests as I was found to have Fibromuscular dysplasia which is basically wonky/slack arteries and is really common if you have a SCAD that they will go on to find FMD. Worth asking. You'll be fine though once you get over the shock of it all !!!
