Hearing In Later Life - Part II

Mary and Tom always held hands when they went out shopping. People thought this quite romantic considering they had been together for over fifty years. Mary's explanation was that the old b*gg*r was a deaf as a post and if shecwas over six feet away he would not hear her. Tom's explanation was rather different; he said if he let go she would go and buy something! 🤣

my hearing isn't as good as it was, but my partner is the only person i know who can't hear what i say, and i hear lots of important sounds that they miss: people at the door, alarms etc
