Possible nerve issues

Has anyone had issues with nerve pain or damage following cardiac problems?I've been to hospital a few times following myo/pericarditis and been told the pain and other symptoms I'm experiencing aren't cardiac... I'm starting to wonder if I've inflammation of my phrenic nerve...

Any experience with neuropathy?

I suffer with small fiber neuropathy, only appeared after my first episode of myocarditis but as far as I'm aware there isn't any connection. It took me almost 3 years to get that diagnosis, frustrating to say the least . I thought I was losing my mind as did a lot of doctors.

I wonder if the inflammation had a part to play... that's rotten it took so long for a diagnosis, but glad you were taken seriously in the end!

I think so too, it was the start of a domino effect for me ,now I have a bunch of random conditions I didn't have before

yes been suffering what they say is nerve damage after my open heart surgery 3 years ago. So relieved it wasn’t my heart but Still painful and unpredictable. Painkillers do help a bit but don’t think theirs any cure

I know what you mean, painkillers take an edge off it but it's still uncomfortable.
