Had a stress test and a second stent fitted the first week in November and like the first one after my heart attack last July I am suffering from nausea weeks later which if it plays out the same way as the first time will last a week, but this time i am also getting spells of feeling dizzy similar to when I first started taking the meds that they prescribe. But seeing I have been on these meds since July and have been feeling okay for the last few months up until this second precedure I would have though I would not get any reactions again. I have seen the doctor and he has prescribed anti-sickness tablets that work great and he checked my blood pressure whick was a little high but is now back to normal, he said just give it a week and see if like last time it will settle down. The one thing I did not like was the stress test the drug they use gave the worste feeling I have ever had how using it can be justified beats me, also the procedure took a lot longer than when I had my first stent fitted and I have felt more sorness than the last time. It's strange that the nausea always comes on weeks after the procedure could it be a delayed reaction to the procedure and drugs thay used. has anyone else had ths same symtoms. Up until having this second stent fitted I had manage to get back to the way I felt before my Heart attack.

Nausea and feeling dizzy 3 weeks after second stent fitted
My second stent seemed to be much more of a shock to my body than the first. It was a real effort to walk down to the cafe each day, something I was doing much easier from the day after the first stent. After about 3 weeks my energy quite suddenly returned.
As with all answers here, this is just my personal experience, not a medical opinion, and if you are concerned you should try to find out from your doctor if there are any other factors involved.
Thanks for your reply, it seems I am going through the same thing as you with the second stent. From day one I felt more soreness in my chest and lack of energy and now the nausea and light headiness. I have seen the doctor and he is not concerned as my bloodpressure is normal and I am not getting any pain. After the first time I recovered fast after a week of feeling Nausea. I was back training and had no pain, I could walk without any problems I was back to normal. It seems I have gone backwards instead of progressing forward after having the second one. I will give it another week as per the doctors instructions and hopefully things will start to improve. Merry Christmas to you and all on this site.
