Aren't they always striking?

I find some of them extremely striking, both beautiful and handsome.

And so caring!😝

Agency nurses will be receiving a fortune on the day their collegues are withdrawing their labour.

You’d hope not. They shouldn’t break the strike either. When I was a supply teacher I never crossed a teacher picket line. I joined it to support the profession as a whole.

Oh good so someone will still care.

The RCN has asked Agency Nurses not to work on strike days.

My understanding is that not all nurses are going on strike. See here...

I'm a nurse in the USA. I back your nurses 100%. It's not that they don't care. Nurses do care and I hope you are seeing that each time you interact with one.

Your nurses are strained and overworked. It's the same here in the USA at this point. I've heard about the salaries in your country. I hope they are heard.

It's not an easy decision for a nurse to leave the bedside. I wish them well

Thank you Dolphin for understanding. I think it's frustrating for patients with cancelled appointments etc, but nurses deserve a wage that reflects the responsibilityand stress involved in their work. Not to say the unpaid overtime that they do. Having been there myself I hope the powers that be treat them fairly. But unfortunately I doubt it.

well I’m an agency nurse and I’m not. It’s really up to the individuals

I've found that agency staff/locums do the job for two reasons, for a lot it's the flexibility it gives them of being able to choose their shifts, for a hell of a lot however, and I don't blame them, it's the financial reward. They don't receive sick pay, holiday pay, pension contributions etc but they do receive a fabulous hourly rate and capitalise on the urgency of the situation, these folk will be at work and rubbing their hands.

My daughter is a nurse in ICU and she is not allowed to strike but she still supports her colleagues
