Hi, I have myocarditis and pericarditis and I’m trying to find out if there is any specific information about using spa facilities? Supposed to be going away this weekend. Anyone know if there are any restrictions? Thanks

HiMy situation may be somewhat different to you. I have a PM fitted due to sick sinus syndrome. I am looking to have a week or so at a spa (quite common here in Czech Republic). My cardiologist has told me to avoid treatments with hot baths. It is typical here to have a check up with a doctor at the spa at the start of the treatment unless you are just going for a "wellness" / relaxation break.

Whatever, enjoy your stay.

Thanks so much for your reply. That makes sense. I’m going to see if I can speak to my cardiologist before I go.

Hope you enjoy your break too!
