Ectopics or something more?

Hi all, I've suffered with ectopics for a long time and 2 years ago I had a cardiac ablation which has really helped but only quite recently I've been feeling a strange sensation where I am aware of my heart beat for a matter of seconds, it feels different and for like 3/4 beats it goes fast. It just feels uncomfortable, is this still ectopics? i suffer with severe anxiety anyway and I also have a leaky heart valve. Just wondering if anybody else understands how I'm feeling?I just worry about everything.

I had a triple Bypass and I would not be able to tell you if you are getting ectopic heart beats or not

I am a very anxious person and anxiety when we get it bad can mimic heart conditions and I am like you that even though I have had my Bypasses any feeling I start wondering and getting anxious and the only way I can get any peace of mind is talking with my Doctor

I think you would benefit from getting that peace of mind to if you suffer with anxiety and would make an appointment to see my Doctor , let them decide and maybe refer you if they feel it is needed to give you that reassurance that for me and you may be similar as much as I am afraid incase there is something wrong when I speak with my Doctor it is the only thing that reassures me

You need to go and see your GP. Recalling previous posts it night be short bursts of tachycardia but you will not know till you see a professional. Sitting and pondering will only make it worse!
