Heart Failure and AF

Hi All I have been told I need Ablation and am on the list . Cardiologist said I had an EF of 30 so have a plumbing issue which he gave me 10 pills a day for. He said I might have to wait a 6 months to a year. My chest pain does get bad sometimes and I have been to A & E 4 or 5 times but they now know whats wrong which is great. I suppose my question is whats the probability of getting fixed lol , not asking for much . Cardiologist did mention he was surprised I wasnt swollen up a bit due to low EF . Any views would be great Thanks

I am far from knowledgeable about the heart unlike so many on here that are but reading your post if they are happy to leave you 6 months to a year on the waiting list then it does need doing but they obviously think you are safe to wait or they would have you in asp

Can you be fixed I will say yes of course you can what these surgeons can do now is amazing and the stories you read on here and how successful they have been are amazing and gives you the confidence that you are going t be in the best hands there are to fix you

Thanks BeKind28 I know they can do amazing things nowadays so I defo do feel blessed. I just got all clear again from cancer last year so am back to dealing with my AF and chest pains. Thankfully my heart behaved while getting all the treatment 👍 Thanks for your kind words

You are though and I m so sorry you had cancer but I am so happy to read you have come through it that must have been an ordeal

If you can beat cancer you will get through this I have no doubt at all that you won't but must be quite devastating going through one major illness t move to another

Thanks BeKind28 Thank God I didnt have a dog as it would have died no doubt as my partner of over 30 years is going also, but on an up note I dont have a partner or cancer or a dog thankfully 👍 appreciate the ear though
