Do i have a serious condition
Your HR of 52-56, if this is at rest, is perfectly ok as long as you don't have any symptoms, like dizziness, fainting.
For someone who's healthy, the normal blood oxygen saturation level will be around 95–100%.
However, if you feel something is 'wrong' then you should contact your GP.
Dear nth1txm
Hello and a warm welcome to you.
Just to let you know that most users on here are not medically trained and even if they were they would not diagnosis you on this sort of medium.
But you have a worry and it is enough for you to post on here and in particular the heart forum.
Do you have any heart problems with your self or members of your family that has made you worry about these odd feelings?
You know what is the normal for your body and those concerns you have need to be addressed.
Your showing average readings that if they were mine would not be a worry to me, but you have this worry so I would continue to monitor yourself { remember to take an average reading over a course of a few} then if you still feel unwell? Out of sorts? Ring 111 and talk to a trained individual.
Please keep us informed of the outcome.
Take care.
Heart rate is fine, blood/oxygen is excellent, but it might not be related to those at all. Definately make an appointment with your doctor or if any concerns before you get one, then as mentioned 👆it's 111 and ask for someone who is trained, the operators aren't.Be prepared for a barrage of questions, good luck 👍
Speak to your GP.
I agree with others, you are best speaking to your GP. Do you have any other sensations that ‘come over’ you just before falling asleep. I fall asleep so quickly I wouldn’t actually be able to check my HR or SATS before I did. Are these readings from an Apple Watch or similar? I presume you do know they are not always 100% reliable.
HAha join the club. After a meal I try to write emails and fall asleep mid sentence. Sat down to watch Emmerdale last week and woke up at 9pm. In bed I'm asleep within 30 seconds. Your sats look fine but if worried you must see your doctor
LOL I've had 3 attempts at watching the penultimate episode of Killing Eve, but each time wake up with some other programme blaring out at me
Although it's annoying to keep rewinding the end of a programme, I've always viewed falling asleep easily as a positive thing as long as it doesn't affect how you sleep at night.I can be off into a dream world even with a few minutes of sleep in front of the TV. I've never taken Recreational Drugs, but I imagine that could be what it is like.
If it's worrying you, you should consult a doctor, but in the meantime just try to sit in a comfortable position so you're not stiff when you wake up.
Just a thought, it could be due to medication if you are taking any. I have been tired and dropping off to sleep at odd times and my GP has just halved my blood pressure mediation in case that is causing the tiredness. I also take cocodamol, which doesn't help.
